TEAM TACTICAL PRINCIPLE

Use movement, delivery and an efficient final action to create a clear chance.

Sub-principles

SUB-PRINCIPLE 01

Separate at the right time

Change pace or direction to arrive free as the delivery becomes possible.

Blue wash: Attacking half · Gold box: Delivery, finishing lanes and cutback · Gold rings: key roles

Required player actions

  • 9 checks away from the intended finishing space before accelerating into it.
  • 11 stays outside the far defender's immediate view and arrives as the cross is possible.
  • 8 delays the cutback run so the defender must turn and locate a new threat.
